Dovecote
A small-business theme that puts the opening hours and the phone number where people look for them.
== Description ==
People arriving at a small business site want three things: are you open, where are you, and how do I reach you. Dovecote puts all three above the fold on every page, and the hours block knows what day it is — it says “Open until 5” rather than making the reader parse a table.
LocalBusiness structured data is generated from the same hours and address you entered, so the markup and the page cannot disagree. There is no separate SEO panel to fill in twice.
No hero video, no parallax, and no carousel of stock photography. The pattern library is fourteen sections that describe an actual business — services, staff, prices, directions — rather than fourteen ways to arrange a headline.

Numbered the way they ship in /assets/. Click any one to see it full width.
== Installation ==
- Install and activate the theme.
- Fill in your address and hours under Appearance → Customize → Business.
- Build pages from the patterns. Start with Services and Directions.
Hours accept exceptions — bank holidays, a week in August — and the header respects them.
== Frequently asked questions ==
Multiple locations?
Up to five, each with its own hours and its own page. More than that wants a plugin with a real location post type.
Does it include a booking form?
No. Booking is a plugin, and the theme styles the common ones. The readme names four it has been tested against.
