Three things make a bug fixable in one round instead of four: the version you’re on, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead. Everything else I can usually work out.
If you can reproduce it on a fresh install, say so — that rules out half the possibilities before I start. If you can’t, that’s useful too.
Security issues go straight to security@example.com and get looked at the same day. Please don’t open a public issue for those.

I take on a small amount of build work each quarter, usually block themes and editor tooling for publishers. I quote fixed prices against a written scope, and I don’t take retainers.
If your project needs a plugin that doesn’t exist yet, say what it should do rather than how it should work. That’s the part I’m good at.
