Quire
A publisher’s theme where a book has an ISBN, a format and a page count, not just a photo.
== Description ==
Publisher sites are catalogues pretending to be blogs. Quire models a title properly: formats with their own ISBNs and prices, publication dates that differ per territory, extent, dimensions, and a rights column that says where you can sell it.
Buy links go wherever you want, including several retailers per format, and the theme does not push one of them. Publishers who sell direct get a WooCommerce path; those who do not get clean outbound links and no cart.
Author pages aggregate titles across series and imprints, and a series page reads in order rather than newest-first, because a series is not a feed.

== Installation ==
- Install and activate the theme.
- Create a title and add its formats.
- Add buy links per format, and set your series and imprints as taxonomies.
ONIX import is not included. The readme documents the field mapping if you have a feed to script against.
== Frequently asked questions ==
Do I need WooCommerce?
Only to sell direct. Without it the theme is a catalogue with outbound buy links and nothing is missing.
Territory rights?
A field per format, displayed to editors and used to hide buy links in territories where you do not hold rights.
