Editorial dashboards that rank writers by word count produce worse writing quickly. Scrivener reports on the publication rather than the people: what got covered, what did not, how length has drifted, and which topics have gone quiet.

The most useful view is coverage gaps — categories with nothing new in six months — which is the question an editor actually has and which no analytics tool answers.

There is no per-author leaderboard and there is no setting to enable one. That is a product decision, not an oversight.

Install and activate the plugin.
Open Dashboard → Publication.
There is nothing to configure.

All figures are derived from published content at request time. Nothing extra is stored.

== Frequently asked questions ==

Can I see per-author output?

No. WordPress already shows post counts per user if you need that; this tool will not rank them.

Does it need analytics?

No. It reports on what you published, not on what was read.
